We did it again! Kota to partner with Jamie Oliver for a 3rd time.
We are very pleased to announce we have secured the digital marketing campaign for Jamie Oliver’s new book ‘VEG’. We are super excited about this great new concept from Jamie and look forward to working with him for a third publication in row, following the campaigns for ‘5 Ingredients’ and ‘Jamie Cooks Italy’.

2018’s release ‘Jamie Cooks Italy’ focused on local recipes originating from all the different regions in Italy. Our creative concept was to transport the audience from where they were experiencing the advert, straight to the heart of Italy, using a travel advert aesthetic. Once the audience looked closer, it would then become clear the time and temperatures were related to cooking, not travel. These adverts could then be used to target specific locations by tailoring the place names used.
5 Ingredient Food.
2017’s ‘5 Ingredient’ was the biggest selling book in the whole of the UK that year, and Jamie’s second best selling book of all time (behind 30 Minute Meals). Our creative concept took inspiration from the minimal aesthetic of the book’s food photography, using the idea of ‘deconstructing’ the 5 ingredients from the finished dish and showing them side by side. The conversation continued with Jamie using the five fingers on the hand to signify the number of ingredients. The creative was instantly simple to understand, much like the concept of the book. Both campaigns ran from August, all the way through to Christmas both in the UK and internationally. We produced D6 out of home advertising, online videos, social media videos and assets. Plus a really fun YouTube pre-roll advert (check it out below)! We can’t wait to launch the new campaign in July.
