Opta Pro are pioneers of sports data, supplying sports teams, media channels and analysts with both valuable statistics and analytical software across the disciplines of Football, Rugby and Cricket. They are thought leaders in their industry and have become part of the language when talking about anything concerned with sports data. We were commissioned to design and build a brand new platform that would align with their refreshed branding and modernise their online offering. The website was very content-heavy, with a large multimedia section, as well as multiple events with historical archives.
Alongside the large multimedia section of the website, which featured videos, podcasts and news articles, we also built an interactive timeline mapping the history of both Opta Pro and Scout 7 who merged in 2017. Other key features included password protected events information and an events media archive.
