YMU are a talent management agency, managing elite talent across six key departments. They work with entertainers, athletes, musicians, and more, and have a roster of over 1000 clients who are at the core of their culture. After completing their brand refresh, YMU contacted us to completely redesign and develop their new website with the goal to showcase YMU as the truly global company they are. The website also needed to update readers with relevant talent news and as well as internal YMU business.
Through our initial discovery phase, we established three main focus areas for the new site: YMU's Talent, Services and News. For the Talent and News sections of the site, we designed a visual grid complimented with YMU's secondary brand font, ITC Garamond Std - a serif font that allowed us to highlight key words or talent names. The website also needed to excite new talent and brands to want to work with YMU whilst also ensuring users were able to search through YMU's huge talent pool. To do so we built an innovative filtering/search function that allowed visitors to navigate though YMU's vast rooster of talent. A key page for the client, that wasn't working well on their old website, was the individual Talent and News pages. Here, the client required flexibility to edit these with various amounts of content, therefore we built them a flexible page that includes components for short and long copy, an image carousel, related news posts and social links. As a result we have built a slick, professional and global website that shows YMU are a forward-thinking company, looking after elite talent across various fields.
