Celebrating 10 years : 2013 - 2023

We produced a new website for healthcare experts to support their mission of improving patient education.

Web design & development

Jumo Health provide resources for use in clinical trials and by pharmaceutical brands to inform participants, secure retention, and increase compliance. They help recruit and retain enrolment by explaining new drugs or treatments to potential users. To do so, Jumo utilise engaging creative assets (both printed and digital media) paired with simple explanations of complex matters.

The company reached out to us to create a new website as part of their ambitious 2022 growth strategy. Their existing website was not functioning well, traffic and leads were low, they found it difficult to update and it wasn’t showcasing the creativity and inclusiveness of their work.

We produced a performance-focused website that aligns with their creative capabilities, while reflecting their professional approach and extensive healthcare expertise.

Our Approach

Through research and interviews with Jumo, we established three main focus areas for the new site: Design, Content Management and E-Commerce.

With design up first, we needed to make sure it balanced the creativity of their work and the professional nature of their industry. We achieved this with a fresh, light theme, making use of multiple scrolling interactions featuring visuals of the resources they create and the people they help.

Content Management was resolved with the use of WordPress. By using custom fields, we created easy-to-use interfaces. We made sure everything on the site was easily editable by their marketing team, as healthcare is an ever-evolving discipline. We provided a full day of Content Management training before the site was launched, to ensure their team was comfortable with using it.

The final focus area was E-Commerce. Jumo’s old store wasn’t integrated into the main website which meant having to navigate off the site. Also, the design wasn’t aligned with the main site. These two things combined made for a bad user experience, risking a loss of potential customers.

We resolved this by using the WooCommerce WordPress plugin. Here we were able to theme the store to match the site and house it within the main navigation, which resulted in a seamless user experience.

I am so happy we hired KOTA. They did a great job delivering on our vision with limited direction. Thank you!
