Okopod came to us at a turning point. They’d gone from building stylish garden rooms in a converted farm building, to becoming one of the fastest-growing prefab builders in the UK — racking up 60% year-on-year growth and £3 million+ turnover in just four years. But their site? It hadn’t kept up.
They needed a brand and digital presence to match the scale, speed, and style of their product. Something that looked as premium as their builds, sold their sustainable ethos, and put them in the same league as the market leader (if not slightly above it). They were also expanding into extensions and full-home builds, so the new site needed to scale with them — not hold them back.
And, of course, it had to convert.

Okopod’s existing site looked decent, but felt underpowered. Users were bouncing too quickly, struggling to find the depth of information they needed to build trust — and there wasn’t enough emphasis on the wider offering beyond garden rooms. It lacked the substance and structure of a true sales and storytelling tool. And with 95% of sales coming through Instagram, the team knew they were missing a trick.
We also needed to balance aesthetics with function. This wasn’t just a brochure site. It needed to house a new shop, support a future app ecosystem, integrate with CRM and ad platforms, and give users more control with a future product configurator. All while maintaining Okopod’s clean Scandinavian feel and no-nonsense tone.
We treated the site like one of their builds — modular, beautifully crafted, and scalable.
We streamlined the sitemap to better reflect Okopod’s full offer, surfacing key areas like pricing (essential for filtering out speculative leads), case studies, and process pages to build buyer confidence. We also created space for extensions and future housing developments, giving the brand room to grow.
Visually, we took their existing brand — a calm, nature-forward aesthetic — and sharpened it. Subtle microinteractions, bold CTAs, rich lifestyle imagery and a clearer narrative hierarchy helped bring a premium feel to the site without overcomplicating it.
And we made it work hard behind the scenes too: a flexible CMS for fast content updates, marketing integrations, and ecommerce functionality — all built for scale.
After just three months live, the results spoke for themselves:
+71.6% average engagement time
That’s more people spending more time soaking up the brand, exploring products, and understanding why Okopod is worth the premium.
More time on site also means warmer, more qualified leads — a key step towards those ambitious sales targets.
