We partnered with the NY-based Stoli Group to elevate their online presence and brand, as well as to refine their positioning in the premium alcoholic beverage market

The Group owns an impressive portfolio of ultra-premium spirit and wine brands including Stoli Vodka, Elit Vodka, Kentucky Owl and Achaval-Ferrer.

Stoli Group needed their updated brand identity to reflect the premium nature of their product range while also creating a brand platform to showcase each and every drink.

The Website

The website redesign was driven by the Group’s need to refresh their positioning in the dynamic premium alcoholic beverage market. We designed and developed a stylish platform where they can share their mission and values, drive recruitment, share company news and press releases.

We gave each brand a space to showcase their unique story with bold image placements and large product shots. Our page layouts bring consistency across the brands and facilitate the introduction of new products in the future, as the Group expands their portfolio. To achieve an elegant and premium feel, we utilised stripped-back, editorial-style layouts with bold, wide-set headers. We ensured our templates are dynamic and flexible, to support the Group’s growth.

 

The Branding

Every brand in the Group had an important story to communicate as well as an established identity. This meant we couldn’t create anything that would overpower any of those sub-brands.

We refreshed Stoli’s identity including a logo mark, new icon, new typeface and new key visuals. A modern black and white palette with strong accents of red connects back to the iconic Stoli Vodka.

The new icon is a combination of the S used by Stoli Vodka surrounded by an outer circle in the shape of a G. This design references their vodka heritage while creating a modern parent brand ready to showcase their ever-growing portfolio of brands for years to come.

To showcase the refreshed brand icon, we created a bold 3D-animated visual emerging from a block of liquid marble. It resembles the materials used in high-end bars, right where the Group’s premium alcoholic drinks are served. We used this as a key visual on the homepage, to grab users’ attention the moment they land on the site.
