MGN came to us at a moment of friction. They’ve built their reputation on care. On listening properly. On noticing the things others miss and turning them into moments people remember. That belief has always guided their work. It just wasn’t translating online.

The business had grown. The team had matured. The website hadn’t kept pace. Performance had dipped, navigation had become cluttered, and the brand message was starting to blur. The result was a site that no longer expressed MGN with the confidence their work deserved.

So before we designed anything, we helped MGN step back and make the brand decisions the website could no longer carry.

Giving the brand a centre of gravity

The first decision was about definition.

MGN needed clarity around what makes them different and why clients choose them. Through brand strategy and brand voice work, we aligned the business around a single organising idea: Magic in the details.

That idea captured how MGN actually works. Experiences shaped by hundreds of thoughtful, precisely executed decisions. It also gave the brand something to lead with.

From there, three principles became non-negotiable: the work must feel deeply personal, creatively curated, and precisely executed. Those pillars stopped being internal statements and started acting as filters for every decision that followed.

Making room for real people

MGN works with both corporate teams and private individuals. The website had tried to hold both, but ended up flattening the experience for each.

Rather than choosing between audiences, we helped MGN decide how to speak to both with intent. That meant defining a brand voice that feels human and reassuring, without losing authority. One that sounds like the people behind the work, instead of a polished events brochure.

This shift changed how the site spoke, structured content, and guided users. Visitors can now recognise themselves quickly and understand what kind of relationship MGN offers.

Letting strategy lead the design

With the strategy clear, we explored multiple creative directions together, each grounded in the same principles, but expressing them a little differently.

This gave MGN space to see how the brand behaved visually. What felt considered. What felt excessive. Where detail added meaning, and where it distracted.

The final design balances elegance with creativity, giving space for imagery, craft and detail to speak without unnecessary noise.

Building something that lasts

The last decision was about longevity.

MGN didn’t want a site that looked good at launch and dated quickly. They needed a platform that felt solid, fast and easy to evolve.

We designed and built a website that loads quickly, behaves predictably, and supports both SEO and lead generation. Behind the scenes, flexible templates give the team control without complexity.

The result is a site that reflects how MGN works in reality — thoughtful, precise, and quietly confident.
